Aquí estoy, mi querido lector, para hablarte esta vez del evento que tuvo lugar a finales del mes pasado, siendo su segunda edición, y que ha congregado en Facebook a más de dos mil personas venidas de todos los rincones del planeta.
Here I am, my dear reader, this time to talk about the event that took place in the end of last month, being its second edition, and gathering more than two thousand people in Facebook, coming from all over the world.
Como te acabo de comentar, es un evento celebrado el día 30 de noviembre a nivel mundial, en el que se ha congregado gente venida de diversas culturas o lugares para poder comentar por una vez al año todo lo relacionado con la saga Suikoden. Por supuesto, aparte de la reunión de fans de la saga, la intención que se tiene al reunir a todas estas personas es demostrar a Konami que sería rentable el realizar y producir una nueva entrega de la serie principal, ya que hay seguidores acérrimos suficientes como para que dicho producto pueda salir adelante. Recordemos que, como dicho día no se cuenta al mismo tiempo, debido a las diferentes zonas horarias del planeta, realmente el Suikoden Day ha durado varios días, ¡por lo que ha sido mejor si cabe!
As I have just said, is an event celebrated on November 30 worldwide, which has congregated people coming from different cultures or places to comment for once in a year everything related to the Suikoden series. Of course, apart from meeting fans of the series, which is intended with gathering all those people is to show Konami that it would be profitable to make and produce a new release of the main series, as there are enough strong followers to see the production as a reality. Remember, that day is not counted at the same time in the whole world, due to the different time zones, so Suikoden Day actually lasted several days, so it was even better!
En la misma página de Facebook se pueden encontrar diversos concursos mantenidos en distintas modalidades, que conllevaban, en caso de ganar o quedar segundo, el correspondiente premio. Los concursos fueron:

Además, se hizo un homenaje en forma de "premio" a quien realizó más comentarios y a quien puso más "me gusta" en el grupo creado a tal fin en Facebook. ¡Muy original!

Pues me he sentido de alguna forma, "comprendido" de nuevo. He visto cómo gente de todo el mundo compartía las mismas sensaciones en la misma línea que un servidor, y que aquello que no podías decir con nadie cercano, debido a su incomprensión y falta de conocimiento, o simplemente porque no quieras que te vuelvan a llamar "friki" una vez más, ha podido salir de tus dedos en forma de palabras, y que otros han leído, comprendiéndolo a la par que discutían o reflexionaban sobre ello. Todo un placer para mis "sentidos Suikodianos", jejejeje.
Well, I felt somehow "understood" again. I've seen how people around the world shared the same feelings in the same line as me, and what you could not say to anyone who are closer to you, due to misunderstanding and lack of knowledge, or just because you do not want that somebody calls you "freak" once again, has gotten out of your fingers into words, and others have read it with understanding at the same time that discussed or considered it. A pleasure for my "Suikodian senses", hehehehe.
He intentado participar en todo lo que mi trabajo me ha dejado, incluso haciendo un dibujillo de mi personaje preferido, Georg Prime. No se ha ganado, pero lo importante era participar, tampoco tenía la pretensión de ganar, la verdad, ¡sobre todo después de ver el nivel tan bueno que existía en el concurso! Verdaderos artistas, sin duda...
I have tried to participate in all that I could in my free time because of my job, even doing a drawing of my favorite character, Georg Prime. I have not won, but the main thing was to participate. I really had no intention of winning, especially after seeing the great level of the other contestants, that was so good! True artists, no doubt...

"Well, I wanted to thank you all for making me spend one of the best days that I can remember. I enjoyed reading each article, admiring each drawing or cosplays, or just with every comment written... I have found myself saying that in fact "I am not alone". The Suikoden series is so much alive, and together, we can make that Suikoden VI will be released in the future! I say goodbye (for now) to all of you, saying until next time! Thank you, thank you very much!!!"
Quiero agradecer "públicamente" y personalmente desde aquí a Nanami, puesto que, como ya le escribí personalmente, a ella le debo el haberme enseñado que el Suikoden Day existía. Hasta hace cosa de un año, yo era un coleccionista y seguidor de esta serie, digámoslo así, "pasivo" o "dormido", puesto que no compartía con nadie aquello que realizaba; simplemente buscaba información por internet en foros, páginas y demás para conseguir mi objetivo, pero nunca participando.
I want to thank "openly" and personally from here to Nanami. As I wrote to her in private, I owe her showing me that Suikoden Day existed. Until about a year ago, I was, we can say, a "passive" or "asleep"collector and fan of this series. I did not share with anyone what I was doing. I just looked for information online in forums and other sites for achieve my goal, but never participating in them.
Un día, Nanami leyó en un foro de compra-venta de videojuegos que yo estaba buscando las versiones promocionales de Suikoden en versión PAL. Ni corta ni perezosa me escribió un mail para preguntarme si era un Suikofan, y desde entonces he intercambiado algún que otro mail con ella; una de las personas más agradables que he conocido, sin duda alguna. En cierta forma, aunque han influido otra serie de factores determinantes en mi vida, gracias a ella me he "abierto" al mundo y empecé a investigar más acerca de lo que creo decir sin temor a equivocarme, nuestra saga favorita, y también por ello creando este blog.
One day, Nanami read in a videogames forum that I was looking for promotional Suikoden PAL versions. Without hesitation, she wrote me an email to ask if I was a Suikofan, and since then I have exchanged some mails with her. She is one of the nicest people that I've ever met, no doubt. Somewhat, although other factors have influenced in my life this year, thanks to her I "opened" my mind to the world and started to do more researching about what I say without fear of contradiction, our favorite saga, and also why I created this blog.
Tal y como le escribí, es algo así como sentirse "más vivo" toda esta experiencia, lo que se ha visto acrecentado por el Suikoden Day, ya que es como si una parte de ti mismo despertara y completara tu existencia.
As I wrote her, this experience is like feeling "more alive", which has been enhanced by Suikoden Day, because it is as if a part of me woke up and complete my life.
